So, let’s see some cars, already!

WANNA SEE MORE CARS? CHECK OUT THIS VIDEO:
THE CARS OF THE AMERICAN GRAFFITI FESTIVAL 2016

BELOW: I’d be smiling too if I owned a gorgeous ’70 Challenger R/T like that. Check out the whole car on our 1970 Dodge Challenger-page.

ABOVE: And this guy is smiling because he knows he has 707 horsepower on tap in this wicked 2016 Dodge Challenger Hellcat.

ABOVE: Manuel owns a restoration shop in Modesto CA called 70s Auto Body, and he restored this pristine 1968 Pontiac Firebird, but there’s a surprise under the hood. Instead of the usual 350 or 400 V8, this one has the OHC 6 cylinder Sprint engine.

ABOVE: I wonder if he wore that shirt because it matches the car? Either way, this is a very clean 1968 AMC Javelin.

ABOVE: There were more classic Impalas than…I can’t think of a suitable metaphor. There were a lot of Impalas. There’s a big Impala Club in the Central Valley and they make a big showing every year at this event. Nice cars.

BELOW: An entire section of the show was set aside for this wild collection of European exotics. Wow!!

You see the darndest things at the
American Graffiti Festival 2016

ABOVE: It’s not every day that you see a ’53 Corvette towing a trailer.

BELOW: This ’57 Chevy police car was done very nicely. However, I doubt the cops back then would have sprung for the pricey Bel Air model. It would probably have been a 210-series.

ABOVE: This gives a whole new meaning to the phrase: “Drop me at the curb”.
BELOW: If not the most unique, it was certainly the cutest. This is what happens when you drop a ’59 Nash Metro body onto a Suzuki Samarai chassis.

ABOVE: This ’68 Chevelle had a slice-and-dice job, cutting out the entire back seat…and maybe a little more.
BELOW: This guy’s been waiting in line all day!
