2014 FORD MUSTANG GT – LAST OF THE 5th-GENERATION
By 2014, the 5th-gen Mustang had been around 10 years, an eternity in the car biz. But it had been a hugely successful design for Ford. The “Retro-stang” had launched in 2005, with over 160,000 Mustangs sold in that first year alone. They did a mid-cycle refresh in 2009, plumping-up the look presumably to make it look more muscular. While I wasn’t personally crazy about the ‘new look’, over 134,000 people bought this final-year 5th-gen Mustang.
